We are on call 24 hours a day and we will be pleased to pick you up from your place and take you to Karavitakis Winery with the minimum of fuss. The trip ends with the driver returning you at your starting point, from the same place he left you, the time you agreed (or by calling 30 minutes before the time you want to return).

Taste the best wines in the Karavitakis Winery Tour. Karavitakis winery is located in Pontikiana at Kolymvari area in Chania. Karavitakis family was producing olive oil, raisins and mainly wine for many generations. From 1998 , M.Karavitakis reforms the family’s vineyards with new varieties both native and international and builds the estates winery in traditional style. In the course of time new varieties are planted.

Karavitakis Winery

The winery can host visitors throughout the year. During that visit somebody can be informed about the whole winemaking procedure. Then the winery offers the possibility of a complete wine tasting with also the chance of buying straight from the winery favorite wines or vintages.

For the summer season starting March 1st until October 31st, the winery is open from Monday to Saturday (except Sunday) with or without appointments between 10.00 to 18.30. You can book your tour. Prebookings are preferred for better servicing.

• Explanation of the wine making procedure
• Wine tasting of our wines accompanied with Cheese bites, Cretan rusks and homemade olives.
