Swim and relax in the amazing beach of Seitan, during the Seitan Limania Tour! Seitan Limania is a well-hidden corner of the northeast side of the Akrotiri peninsula, Chania. There you will find a beach that differs from other beaches. Nature created three inlets between the steep cliffs of the peninsula. In one of them is located the well-hidden beach. The word Seitan is Turkish, apparently from the period that Turks ruled in Crete, and means diabolical.

Even though the name of the beach can be translated as “Satanic Ports”, the beach looks rather paradisiacal with its crystal-clear waters.

On the right and the left sides of the cove, huge marble rocks are standing high to protect the beach from the bad weather. The beach of Seitan Limania was not very popular until recently when the road that gets here was constructed. At and around the beach you will find no amenities, which means you will have to carry your water, snack or anything else you might need, as well as to leave nothing but footprints at the beach as you leave.

Climb down the path in about 5-10min. and you are at the beautiful beach of Seitan Limania! So, if you get to Chania be sure to visit Seitan Limania and it will seem to you as a small heaven on earth!
